Product Delivery Manager / Product Owner – Job Description
Who we are looking for a person:
- With excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, that inspire confidence in business stakeholders and the team. Ability to facilitate clear discussions between technical and non-technical teams.
- With good commercial awareness and experience managing budgets and resource utilization.
- Well organized and able to respond to changing priorities.
- Analytical and flexible, with the ability to rapidly understand ambiguous and complex concepts, prioritize competing demands, and ensure teams focus on high-value deliverables.
- With ability to take ownership of incremental product delivery using Agile methodologies and tools. Strong understanding of Agile product metrics and their value in continuous improvement.
- With proven experience working with geographically distributed teams ensuring seamless collaboration and delivery.
- With strong experience with Agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Kanban, Scrum).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned projects (both software/products and/or infrastructure projects) and the production of relevant project deliverables and artifacts.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage cross-team dependencies, and escalate issues as needed to ensure smooth delivery.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment on product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
- Implement effective change management control.
- Ensure incremental product delivery is aligned with the roadmap, properly tracked, and documented with up-to-date statuses.
- Develop and distribute timely status reporting with key sprint/product metrics, using Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence.
- Follow and align with Agile processes, frameworks, and best practices.
- Own and engage in all stages of the Agile development process – planning, stand-up, show-and-tell, and retrospective ceremonies.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure the backlog is sufficiently prioritized and prepared for the next iteration.
- Manage, coach, and motivate the project team.
- Communicate with openness, honesty, and respect in all situations, acting as a bridge between business, design and technical teams. Be adept at conflict resolution, decision-making, and direction setting.
- Continuously assess and refine Agile processes, identifying areas for improvement in team workflows, tooling, and communication.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX/UI, and business teams to drive product development and ensure seamless execution.
- Act as an Agile champion, coaching teams on best practices, fostering a culture of collaboration, and driving continuous learning.

While not required, the following experience and skills would be beneficial:
- Agile Process Improvement – Experience scaling Agile practices across multiple teams and optimizing workflows.
- Digital Product & SaaS Knowledge – Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps principles, and cloud-based solutions.
- User-Centric Mindset – Experience with A/B testing, product analytics, or customer feedback loops. Strategic Thinking – Ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product and business strategy.
Working language:
English as primary and official working language, Romanian, Russian as optional secondary language (for internal team communication).
