Built on values that stand unwavering in the face of the challenges of time, Château Purcari has committed, for almost 200 years, to creating emblematic wines that would be talked about across all continents. We conquered Europe as early as 1878, at the World Exhibition in Paris, where we obtained the first Gold Medal for the classic Negru de Purcari.

We reached the dining tables of British and Romanian Royalties, navigating through challenging historical periods that enabled us to emerge as one of the top three most awarded wineries globally today. This achievement showcases our commitment to placing the quality of our wines at the forefront.

2023 was the year in which we managed to reconfirm the fact that our wines are universal and that they speak for and about us in any corner of the world, through the 430 medals that we received, for wines such as: Alb de Purcari with gold at Mundus Vini Spring Tasting, at Berliner Wine Trophy and at Concours International de Lyon; 1827 Sauvignon Blanc with gold at Mundus Vini Spring Tasting, with gold at Concours International de Lyon; 1827 Pinot Grigio with gold at Mundus Vini Summer Tasting, with gold at Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada.

Ca parte a Grupului de Vinării Purcari, am fost premiați cu titlul de „Cea mai de succes vinărie din Europa de Est și Centrală” la Decanter World Wine Awards și cu titlul de „Cel mai bun producător din Moldova” la Mundus Vini.

2024 has already started off strong for Château Purcari, with recognition at the Grand International Wine Award MUNDUS VINI Spring Tasting, where we were designated as one of the „Most Successful Wineries of the Year”, alongside producers from Austria, Italy, Spain, and South Africa.

We reconfirmed our title as “The Best Producer in Moldova,” obtaining 20 gold medals and 12 silver medals. At the Berliner Wine Trophy, we impressed by winning 17 gold medals and a Grand Gold for Ice Wine, highlighting the exceptional quality of our wines.
