Founded in 2002, following its integration into the Purcari Wineries Group, BOSTAVAN Winery owns 850 hectares in the microzones of Onești and Etulia, in the GPI Valul lui Traian region. Here, the winery harvests approximately 30,000 tons of the highest-quality grapes during the season.

Diversity is the key word for BOSTAVAN Winery, where around 20 million bottles are bottled annually, featuring wines from local grape varieties at a very advantageous price-quality ratio.

The first wine in the BOSTAVAN portfolio was crafted in 2005. With a bottling capacity of up to 12,000 bottles per hour, we were able to become the largest exporter of quality wines from the Republic of Moldova in the same year, establishing partnerships in over 25 countries.

Currently, BOSTAVAN collections enjoy popularity and include new wine lines such as White Doktor, Ed Knows, Black Doktor. Since 2017, we have introduced the sparkling wine DOR, crafted by the renowned winemaker Federico Giotto, to the market.

Hand-harvested grape products, DOR Reserve wines capture the refinement of grape varieties cultivated in the Etulia microzone, situated in southern Moldova. These wines reveal their personality through a complex structure and excellent aging potential.

The sparkling wine from this collection is crafted from grapes harvested in the vineyards of Onești, located in the Codrii Moldovei region. It is produced using the Charmat method, which imparts a fresh, fruity character and ensures the preservation of grape aromas. Through the delicate dance of bubbles, DOR SPARKLING transforms every celebration into one filled with color and positivity.

Daos, meaning „wolf”, was the original name of the ancient Dacians – the 'Daoi' – a Thracian tribe that settled in the present-day territories of Moldova and Romania in the 1st century BCE. This mystical totemic animal of the Dacians even represented their supreme god, Zalmoxis. With his name on their lips, the Dacians were courageous and fearless warriors. In their honor, we have created Daos Selected Wines, a collection of wines for determined individuals.
