EXPLORE ANGEL’S ESTATE WINES

Angel’s Estate is a property with a sprawling area of 14,000 square meters in the village of Banya, Novozagorsko, with 7,000 square meters buried underground. This allows the winemaking process to be carried out by gravity. The winery was established in 2010 and is a true gem, impressing with its modernist style. The four-level building features an elegant tasting room separated by showcases from the fermentation and ageing areas. Planted on the slopes of the Central Forest are 150 hectares of vineyards with diverse international grape varieties, mainly French. The vine density is 500 vines per hectare, with row width of 2 meters and 1 meter spacing between them. The soil composition is diverse, including sandy gravel, cinnamon forest and clay-limestone. The grape varieties composition of the vineyards is in a ratio of 70% red varieties and 30% white varieties. The production equipment is of exceptionally technological and high-quality standards, enabling a wide variety of experiments—vinifications in different volumes of stainless-steel vessels, clay amphorae, and oak barrels. The winery has an annual capacity of over one million bottles. The angels watch over the winery and wines, hence the style that the winery follows is characterized by richness and dignity in the taste and character of each brand.

Angel’s Estate became a part of the Purcari Wineries Group in 2022, marking a new milestone on Purcari Wineries Group’s map of external development. Thanks to the terroir potential of the region, the winery offers high-quality wine products that enjoy popularity in the Central and Eastern European markets.
